Port Bay fishermen are reporting nice catches of perch being taken from our area. There are points to work around the bay. Graves Point, Thompkins Point, and the south end of Port Bay, from the west side where the state has a boat launch. With the heavy north winds that have been blowing you will want to dress heavy. Depending on the time of day that you fish, start working off the bottom, and if the action slows down, start working your jigs higher and higher until you find some nice perch or panfish. One last thing to remember, get the kids away from the television and teach them the sport of fishing, they will thank you in the long run. Good Fishing, Capt. Frank |
