Happy Fathers Day to all the readers of this fishing report. Port Bay still is holding some brown trout, from 10-70' of water, with the surface temperature near shore at 57.0 degrees. The bait fish are still plentiful along the shoreline. Most of the bait is moving down deeper in the water. Downriggers are starting to kick in better the past week. Offshore in front of Port Bay, there has been some lake trout action in 400-600' of water, with the surface temperature about 55. The action out there was from the surface to 65' down. Also Saturday was the opening of the bass season, with plenty of action along the shoreline. still some moss on the bottom. Well in closing good luck fishing this week. |
