June 02nd, This has been an unusual
season on Lake Ontario. The shoreline temperature
is 47-50.0 degrees, we have had plenty of south
winds, or Northeast winds. This keeps the bait
fish "alwives" tight to the inside. And in return
the brown trout are staying there to feed. So on
your next trip to the " Great Lake" try fishing
the beach to 30' of water. the best lures working
are spoons. all different colors and sizes. If you
visit the Wayne County update for this week you
will see a catch of trophy browns. We kept fish from 6-15 lbs. and in the afternoon, we were releasing 6-8 lb. fish.
Well that about tells the story for this update.
remember, with summer coming make room for the
bride and your family.
Enjoy!!!
